Celebrity esthetician Molly Walsh has been one of the America's premier skin care professionals for 20 years.
She is owner-operator of Molly's Skin Care Boutique in Hermosa Beach, California, a spokeswoman for The Body Shop, the 2nd largest cosmetic franchise in the world and a member of the Beautyfix panel of experts.
She was named "the facialist to the stars...who works her magic" by the Hollywood Reporter trade newspaper. Her client roster includes Brooke Shields, Florence Henderson, Maria Sharapova, Amanda Peet, Jimmy Smits and Jim Carrey.
International tennis star Ms Sharapova, on her website, ranked Molly’s Skin Care Boutique as the #1 spa in the world for facials. TIME magazine’s November 2008 special travel issue quoted Ms Sharapova stating among her relaxing pursuits are “Facials at Molly’s in Hermosa Beach.”
Florence Henderson, America's favorite TV mom from the Brady Bunch, rates Molly's facials, "The best I have ever had."
In Molly's twenty years as a licensed cosmetologist, she keeps very up-to-date in skin care remedies and products by regularly attending educational seminars and trade expositions. She has diplomas in leading skin care products Decleor, Epicuren, Phytomer, Dermalogica, Simple Solutions, Moor Mud, Cellex-C, Obagi, Murad, Yonka and Jane Iredale mineral make-up.
Because of her knowledge of product ingredients and their effective use she has become one of country's foremost authorities in aromatherapy treatments.
She is a specialist in microdermabrasion treatments for sun-damaged skin, acne scars and fine lines. Her homeopathic skin care treatments include nourishing the skin from the inside out using vitamins and herbs for internal balancing to purify the skin.
She developed, over a 20-year period of trial and error, a new, cancer free, organic spray tan OrganiTan to provide a safe alternative to ultra violet rays from the sun and sun tanning beds which scientists now report are as cancer causing as smoking cigarettes. Ms Walsh received her cosmetology license in 1988. She was employed at salons and spas in Encino and Brentwood, CA, before she and her husband, Voc Gregorian, opened Molly's Skin Care Boutique in 2002.
